Cultures and Kith

Simple, quick-to-use fill-in-the-blank worksheets that help establish your TTRPG character in the context of their wider world. Where do they come from? What is their homeland like? What sets them apart from their neighbors? Use to create the initial skeleton of a character's personality and origins, while adding locations and cultures to the map of your table's shared setting. If your game allows for non-human player characters, a few additional blanks help you communicate the best-known features of your character's species!

MOSAIC Strict? What's that?

MOSAIC Strict by Michael Prescott is a set of rules for making modular RPG subsystems. MOSAIC Strict documents can be added on to existing tabletop games, or mixed and matched to produce complete game experiences!

"Cultures and Kith" very slightly bends the "Short" requirement, in that the total document is three pages instead of "a two-page spread". However, it falls well beneath the 1500 word maximum, and all the unique content appears on a single page; pages 2-3 are print-friendly repetitions of the page 1 text. So I feel it still fits the spirit of the rules!

Another great supplement. There are no flashy things, it's straight to the point and does this one thing really well. Use it as a world-building tool to create fantastical peoples as characters create their characters or as a means to come up with NPCs on the fly or anything else. 10/10
